Cereal Potato Cheese Ball

INGREDIENT
2 -3 pcs of potatoes
1/2 tsp of salt or to taste
1/4 tsp of black pepper or to taste
mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes)
1 Large egg
1/2 cup of our
1 cup of cereal akes


METHOD
1. Boil the potatoes in a pot with water enough to cover them. Keep the skin while boiling as it prevents them
from turning mushy.
2. Use a fork to poke into the potatoes, if it slides through easily, it’s done. You can now peel the skin.
3. Mash the potatoes, add salt and black pepper and mix well.
4. Divide the mixture to 6-8 balls.
5. Place the potato ball on your palm, then place 1 mozzarella cheese cube in the center and bring the potatoes to
cover up the cheese. Make sure that potatoes surrounds all of the cheese. Lightly roll the potato ball between
your hands.
6. Prep a breading station with three bowls: our, whisked egg, and cereal akes.
7. Cover the patato cheese ball with our, then egg, then cereal akes.
8. After all the balls are coated, heat up the oil on medium high heat. You can check if your oil is ready with an

uncoated wooden spoon or uncoated chopsticks. Just put the spoon/chopstick into the oil. If the oil starts bub-
bling around the chopstick/spoon steadily then you’re ready to fry.

9. Gently slide the potato cheese ball to the hot oil. Move around gently and fry until the outside turns golden
brown. Scoop out with a slotted spoon and let drain on a wire rack.
10. Serve the potato cheese balls immediately.
