INGREDIENT 500ml of milk 60g of corn starch 50g of sugar 1 large egg 1/2 cup of our 1 cup of cereal akes
METHOD 1. In a non-stick pot, add in milk, corn starch, and sugar. Bring it to a simmer, but keep stirring consistently to prevent burning and sticking. 2. Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes, until it becomes a thick consistency. 3. Lightly brush a square container with some oil. Pour the milk mixture into the square container, atten the mixture. Rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight. 4. Remove the milk pudding from the square container and cut the milk pudding into even pieces or your preferred sizes. 5. Cover the milk pudding stick with our, then egg, then cereal akes. 6. After all the milk pudding sticks are coated, heat up the oil on medium high heat. You can check if your oil is ready with an uncoated wooden spoon or uncoated chopsticks. Just put the spoon/chopstick into the oil. If the oil starts bubbling around the chopstick/spoon steadily then you’re ready to fry. 7. Gently slide the milk pudding sticks to the hot oil. Move around gently and fry until the outside turns golden brown. Scoop out with a slotted spoon and let drain on a wire rack. 8. Serve the fried milk sticks immediately.
