Instant Coffee

WHAT IS INSTANT COFFEE?

Instant coffee is made from real whole coffee beans that were roasted, ground, and brewed. What makes coffee instant is when all the water is removed from the brewed product, leaving behind dehydrated crystals of coffee. To make it come again, you just need to add water!

SPRAY-DRYING COFFEE

This process requires a liquid coffee concentrated to be sprayed into a very hot air chamber. The heat evaporates any water, leaving a real product of dehydrated coffee crystals.

FREEZE-DRYING COFFEE

This process starts with liquid coffee being
cooked down to an extract. The extract is then
chilled until it reaches the consistency of slush,
before being completely frozen into solid blocks.
The frozen coffee blocks then make their way
through a drying vacuum and the ice vaporises,
leaving behind instant coffee granules.
